SKIN BOOSTERS

The term "skin booster" refers to a procedure where a stimulators material is injected superficially into the skin to promote healing and hydration. In a general sense, bio-revitalization encompasses all rejuvenation techniques that alter the extracellular matrix using biologically active substances.
Skin boosters can be based on Hyaluronic acid and Polynucleotides (PDRN):

HYALURONIC ACID

The magic of HYALURONIC ACID lies in its ability to attract and retain water due to its large molecular mass. Its role in skin hydration has been proven. Products based on hyaluronic acid deeply moisture the skin, activate fibroblasts, leading to collagen and elastin production. The skin becomes smoother, and its firmness increases. Facial color improves, and pigmentation spots and wrinkles become less noticeable or disappear altogether, reducing stretch marks.

POLYNUCLEOTIDES (PDRN)

Polynucleotides represent a special extract from the DNA of the gonadal tissue of male salmon (milt). As the DNA of salmon and human leukocyte DNA are very similar, this is why polynucleotide-based boosters work effectively on the human body. Polynucleotide-rich substances are abundant in nucleic acids, proteins, and peptides, which have been successfully used in medicine for a century. Polynucleotides powerfully stimulate cellular metabolic processes, restoring their division. The skin begins producing its own young fibroblasts and keratinocytes, along with hyaluronic acid, promoting self-renewal. They bind free radicals, protecting against the consequences of UV radiation.
Bio-revitalization injections are used for visible rejuvenation of the face, neck, décolleté, hands, and any other parts of the body that a patient wishes to "revitalize."

In the "cocktail" for bio-revitalization amino acids, antioxidants, peptides, coenzymes, vitamins, and minerals are often added. This allows achieving additional cosmetic rejuvenation and addressing some aesthetic issues.

The ultimate outcome of both hyaluronic acid and polynucleotide-based biorevitalizers is similar. It can effectively treat a wide range of symptoms of ageing which include:

BIO-REVITALIZATION

Loss of skin tone and skin sagging
Skin ageing
Lack of hydration
Porous skin
Acne and acne scarring
Dark circles under eyes
Sun damage
Fine lines and wrinkles
Rosacea
Pigmentation
Duration of the effect primarily depends on whether you completed a course of procedures (usually 3-5 sessions with a 2-4 week interval) or underwent a single procedure. Initial effects of bio-revitalization become apparent within the first week after the procedure, with subsequent effects appearing a bit later. Noticeable smoothing of wrinkles and a lifting effect occur about a week after the first procedure due to intense skin hydration after the introduction of hyaluronic acid into areas with the most significant deficiency. Hyaluronic acid naturally breaks down and is expelled from the body, so the results typically last an average of 6–9 months.
